What an awesome book of cross stitch patterns, if I do chant incantations myself! This officially licensed book contains 20 patterns of/or inspired by the hit horror movie Evil Dead 2. Narrated by deadite Henrietta, this book takes the novice through basic stitching of easy patterns (marked 1-2 out of 5 Chainsaws) and works up to patterns for stitchers looking for a challenge (check out patterns marked 5 out 5 Chainsaws!). Henrietta also gives tips on several patterns, so pay attention and don't forget to read everything! This is a must-have book for every Evil Dead fan, for every cross-stitcher looking for non-traditional patterns, and for anyone on a quest to swallow some souls!
The book measures 11" long x 8 1/2" wide x 1/4 " deep and weighs 20 oz. The patterns are large and use symbols and color blocks, while some patterns are presented with black and white symbols. Patterns are labeled in difficulty scale and were tested by model stitchers before publication. You could say the patterns were model stitcher tested, deadite approved!
